How Archive WhatsApp Chats

WhatsApp's archive feature allows users to hide conversations from their main chat list without deleting them. When you archive a chat, it simply disappears from the main chat list, but you can access it later by going to the archived chats section. This feature is helpful for organizing conversations and reducing clutter in the main chat list.

To archive a chat on WhatsApp

Open WhatsApp and go to the chat you want to archive.
On Android, long-press the chat you want to archive. On iOS, swipe left on the chat.
Tap on the archive icon (a down-facing arrow on Android, or "Archive" on iOS).

To access archived chats

Scroll to the top of your chat list on WhatsApp
On Android, tap on "Archived Chats." On iOS, drag the chat list down to reveal the search bar, then tap on "Archived Chats" at the top of the screen.
From here, you can view your archived chats and unarchive them if needed by following similar steps. It's important to note that archiving a chat doesn't delete it; it simply hides it from the main chat list for organizational purposes.
